Hello my lovely little Aurora.
You have definitely begun to become your own little person these past few weeks. You continue to smile at those you know, warming their hearts whenever you do. My favourite thing that you do is when you smile at me first thing in the morning...you HAVE to be a morning person like your Dad and I.
What have you begun to do, besides eat more? You are beginning to reach for objects and try to put things in your mouth (although still in the early stages). You are able to sit up, aided of course, but prefer to look out at the world. You have recently gone for naps in your crib. (That said, you wake up when your "sleep sheep" stops playing music...but at least it gives you about 45 minutes of nap time in what will be your room.) Heck, you have even (VERY recently) slept through the night...I hope I'm not jinxing anything.
A recent favourite memory for me (and your Dad) is when we have seen Nonno with you at family gatherings - with family beyond the immediate. This past weekend, we had two BBQs to attend, and your Nonno liked nothing more than carrying you around and introducing you to everyone around him as his "little joy", "little princess", his "world". And don't worry, Nanny was also proud as punch to have you meet people - beaming from ear to ear. (You definitely have that affect on people in your family - you are SO loved.) Your Dad and I knew it would be amazing to give your grandparents a grandchild and knew they would love you with all their heart, but even we didn't think they'd be as cute about it. We look forward to many more memories such as these.
